LocalPoint Media Lands National Restaurant Online Campaign: Nearly $50,000 For Community Newspaper Web Sites

5/7/2009 — LocalPoint Media, the ad placement agency representing hundreds of community newspapers, has sold an exclusive online-only advertising campaign to a national restaurant chain to appear on more than 30 community newspaper Web sites in 12 states across the United States. The campaign will begin today, May 7th and run through June 30th.

The national campaign represents LocalPoint Media's largest online-only buy to date. "This is a huge win for community newspapers," said Cindy Hefley, Local Point Media's Chief Operating Officer. "National retailers and agencies are recognizing the power of community newspapers and their affiliated Web sites. We see the Web sites of community newspapers as key to revenue growth in the future."
