Be a Part of the New SNA National Network

You've heard about it but wonder — what exactly will it do and how can I get in on it?

8/3/2007 — The SNA National Network will allow national advertisers and their agencies to seamlessly buy suburban and community newspapers across North America through a "one rep, one order, one bill" process. We all know that our segment of the newspaper industry is somewhat fragmented and complicated to buy — and national advertisers know it too. The Network will remove that barrier and open up a new option for national advertisers looking to delve deeper into communities and looking for an alternative to metro newspapers.

Billions of national advertising dollars are spent in newspapers annually, and metro dailies traditionally have received the lion's share of that revenue. Being part of a vast network focusing exclusively on suburban and community newspapers means a greater opportunity for you to receive national ad placements that you might not have gotten on your own — and the Network does all the work for you! Plus, there is no up-front cost to join.

The Network will pursue the following traditional categories of national advertising: travel, luxury, telecommunications, automotive manufacturers and aftermarket, financial, insurance, pharmaceutical, packaged goods, health and beauty, food and beverage, technology, pure-play internet companies and national political. The Network will not sell retail accounts or any categories other than those listed above.

Great! Sign me up!

The process is easy. Just two simple steps and you're in!

  • STEP ONE: First, download the Newspaper Participation Agreement, read it through, fill out the appropriate information, sign and fax your signed agreement to 231-932-2985.
  • STEP TWO: In order to best represent your newspaper, we need to collect your rates and publishing information. First, we need to get some basic information for your newspaper to assign you a login for our easy, fill-in-the-blank online web form. Please call us toll-free at 866-451-5567 or e-mail us at karen.ardery@localpointmedia.com and provide the e-mail address of the user completing the form, your newspaper name, your parent company name (if applicable) and include whether your company is an individual newspaper or a publishing group. We will then provide you with your login information and a link to our online web form. Notice: if you wish to enter information for multiple participating newspapers, you may also send the requested information for each company. You will be able to manage each newspaper with the same username and password.

And that's it!

It's that easy to participate. Your newspaper is now part of an amazing network, the only organization of its kind, connecting national advertisers with suburban and community newspapers.

But I still have questions...
